Najet works with acrylic paint on large-format canvas. The different elements of her work, painting, writing and drawing, enter into a dialogue with one another. Her current work explores the complex and often delicate relationship between man and nature. She embarks on an intens painting process, working naturally, freely and in a very experimental and multilayered way on her respective subject. She takes a critical look at the question of what human beings experience in our technologized world and how this technologization affects our human existence. The figures she depicts often seem robotic themselves. The artworks are powerful expressions of an artist who pushes the boundaries of convention and makes us question our own relationship to the world around us.
